Michigan native changes career to follow dream of business ownership
Asian food franchise, Franchisee, Matt Jones, was featured in the Daily Tribune for opening his first Teriyaki Shop in Wixom, Michigan!
“I worked as an insurance claims manager for 18 years, and my job was eliminated. They offered me a different position with the company but I didn’t want to take it,” Jones continued. “I’d always dreamed of owning my own business,” he said.
Matt chose Teriyaki Madness through a business consultant and quickly fell in love with the concept, the growth potential, and the fact that there was only one other TMAD in Michigan. In the next 5 years, TMAD plans to spread through Michigan adding 15 more locations.
According to the Daily Tribune, “Jones hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for his new restaurant, with the Wixom Chamber of Commerce, April 25. Starting out by giving back to the community. Jones announced that for every regular bowl purchased on Friday, April 26, the restaurant will donate $1 to the Wixom Community Foundation.”
TMAD was most recently recognized for our impressive growth in QSR Magazine and opening our 50th Asian food franchise in Oakdale, Minnesota. Combined with our powerful business model, impressive executive team, and the momentum we have built over the past year, there’s no stopping the Madness.
TMAD’s are quickly popping up all over the nation (and soon world domination), but territories are still available and there is always room for more Madness!
