Husband and wife team Edgar Gonzalez and Jessika Juraidini plan to bring the first Teriyaki Madness to Corpus Christi. They chose Teriyaki Madness for their first franchising adventure because of our delicious, unique menu and full-service support.
Teriyaki Madness has a really great menu. The food is tasty; everything is really good. As far as for the franchises I looked into, I looked at every concept possible. I looked at pizza franchises, breakfast franchises, burger franchises — everything. Teriyaki Madness is the only franchise that doesn’t have a lot of competition. It’s a unique style of food.

Gonzalez was a general manager for Wings and Rings for 11 years, and Juraidini worked in property management before the couple decided to invest in a business for themselves.

They have plans to expand their teriyaki territory once their first shop is up and running.
At the moment, we’re starting with one location but our plan is to expand with multiple locations around Corpus Christi and maybe a couple more outside of the city at some point.
If you like the restaurant business or franchising, now is the time to jump into it. For me, I waited around for a few years going back and forth, until I decided to go for it. I just wish I could have found TMAD a little bit sooner. I’m glad it’s finally getting going.
