TMAD Shakes Things Up: Named Among Fast Casual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers

Turns out, we’re not just slinging bowls — we’re shaking up the entire fast casual scene. Teriyaki Madness has officially landed on the 2026 Fast Casual Top 100 Movers & Shakers list for the 7th time, [AS2.1]earning the #53 spot this year. Not too shabby for a brand built on big flavor, bold moves, and zero interest in doing things the boring way. This annual report is basically the industry’s highlight reel, the brands and leaders who are pushing the category forward.
Each year, the Top 100 Movers & Shakers list calls out the brands rewriting the rules of the fast casual, whether that’s through smarter tech, stronger guest experiences, or redefining what it means to be a go-to dining spot. In other words, it’s a curated list of the brands that are actually doing something worth paying attention to. And yes, we are very into being on that list.
Let’s be real; this kind of recognition doesn’t happen by accident. TMAD has been busy doing what we do best:
• Expanding into new markets
• Doubling down on tech, delivery, and convenience
• Supporting franchisees like it’s our full-time job (because it is)
• And serving up ridiculous amounts of craveable, Seattle-style teriyaki
We’ve always believed that fast casual should be fast, fun, and serve food that’s so good, it sells itself — and it’s paying off.
Coming in at #53 this year gives us something even better than bragging rights, it gives us fuel. Sure, we’ve climbed before, and yeah, we’ve got our eye on moving up again (Top 5, we’re looking at you). But rankings aside, being part of this list means we’re in the mix with the brands shaping where this industry is headed next. That’s exactly where we want to be.
