Teriyaki Madness Connecticut Shops Host Charity Fundraiser in Support of Where Angels Play Playground Project
Teriyaki Madness locations in Connecticut joins the community effort to raise funds for a memorial playground in Somers, Connecticut, honoring four children lost in a tragic house fire.
TMAD shops in Hamden, Manchester or Enfield will be holding a month-long charity fundraiser for the month of March, with an additional single day fundraiser on March 28, 2025.
Between March 1st and 31st:
- When you visit any of the three Connecticut Teriyaki Madness locations (Enfield, Manchester & Hamden) in person, you can make a $5 or more donation to the Where Angels Play Foundation and then receive a coupon to get 50% off any Regular-sized bowl to use between April 1st – September 30th
- Then, all day on March 28th at all three Connecticut TMAD locations 100% of all sales will be donated to the Where Angels Play Foundation
The fundraisers will benefit the Where Angels Play Foundation playground project in Somers, Connecticut. This initiative will raise funds to support the building of a special playground in memory of the four Koropatkin children who tragically lost their lives in a multifamily house fire on January 3, 2024.
Ken and Audrey Schanke, owners of Teriyaki Madness shops in Enfield, Hamden and Manchester, are leading this effort in partnership with Bill Lavin, founder of Where Angels Play.
“It’s incredibly fulfilling to be part of a larger effort to help a community heal through this playground. Every donation, large or small, will contribute to something truly special and serve as a beautiful reminder of the hope and love surrounding this town.”
-Ken Schanke, Teriyaki Madness Franchisee
