Teriyaki has taken over. And in one of the hardest years in service industry history, no less.
Restaurant Business has named Teriyaki Madness the #1 Fastest-Growing Chain in the US, beating out household names like Popeye’s, Sonic, and Wingstop. Opening 30 new shops during a pandemic is unheard of—but it happened.
“We’re excited to have welcomed so many new franchise partners in 2020. We’re just getting started, so we’re sure many more will want to join us on our way to becoming America’s favorite Teriyaki bowl.”
Michael Haith, CEO
Now, TMAD looks to build on that momentum in 2021, by opening shops in Florida, Illinois, California, Tennessee, Missouri, Georgia, Arizona and the first two Teriyaki Madness locations in Canada this spring.
With more than 100 shops and growing, the Teriyaki Takeover seems to be picking up steam (and franchisees).
So if you’re betting on bitcoin or dogecoin to take you to the moon, maybe you should give Teriyaki a look instead.
