Chetan Patel and Darkshak Patel are the newest TMAD franchisees to open their first Teriyaki franchise in Sioux Falls, South Dakota!

According to Sioux Falls Business, “When Chetan Patel and his brother-in-law Darshak Patel decided to pursue opening a Teriyaki Madness franchise in Sioux Falls, they had never eaten in one of the restaurants.”

Chetan, who owns a Super 8 in Sioux Falls, told his manager, David Hurley that he’d like to invest in a restaurant opportunity. David mentioned that when he lived in Las Vegas, he would eat at TMAD three or four times a week and that it would be the perfect opportunity for Chetan and Darshak.

After visiting the corporate headquarters in Denver, Chetan and Darshak were sold on the concept and decided to open South Dakota’s first Teriyaki Madness!

“It’s tasty and healthy, and everything is fresh. Nothing is frozen,” Chetan said. “That’s what I like about it.”

Darshak, who will also double as the shop manager loved the idea that each bowl is made fresh when ordered.

According to Sioux Falls Business, “The Patel’s will have the 57th restaurant in the chain, which started in 2003 in Las Vegas. Teriyaki Madness is in a growth mode now, opening about 50 locations every year…Ninety-five percent of the sites are franchise owned.”

The teriyaki franchise officially opened on June 17, 2019 and gave free bowls and awesome deals for their grand opening!

Congrats Chetan and Darshak!
