Teriyaki Madness Hits West Florence
Dozens of Florence residents anxiously waited for the doors to open for the new store opening on Monday morning as the first 25 customers received coveted door prizes.
The first five people in the door won a year’s worth of free bowls while 20 other lucky guests received free bowls for a month.Co-owners Dipti, Ketan and Monank Patel said they found the idea for the Teriyaki Madness franchise online and knew it would be the perfect fit for the building and the west Florence area.
Patel said after deciding to open the franchise, the process went quickly and the business was open within four months. So far, Patel said she has received nothing but positive feedback from her guests and the surrounding neighborhood about opening a restaurant with a more health-oriented menu.
“If you live in West Florence, it is a huge neighborhood that was just waiting for something. They really wanted a healthy option, “Patel said. “People didn’t want fried stuff. They wanted good food, real food. And we’ve got it.”
