Columbus, Ohio Discovers the New World of Teriyaki Madness

Kenny, Dhruv and Smit Patel are our newest franchisees and they are spreading the Madness in Columbus, Ohio!

Dhruv and Smit (brothers) recently both graduated from Ohio State University. Smit graduated with a dual degree in Finance and Microbiology and has professional experience as a financial advisor. Dhruv graduated with an accounting degree and has professional experience in accounting and treasury.

The family originally found out about TMAD through their Uncle’s
brother-in-law, Manoj Patel, our very successful franchisee in Madison, Alabama (one of the biggest grand openings yet!).

After visiting Manoj’s shop and trying the food, they quickly fell in love with

the fast casual concept and the delicious TMAD flavors. After finding Teriyaki Madness, the family quickly stopped looking at other concepts and jumped on board.

Dhruv and Smit’s dream of owning their own business was made possible by their father, Kenny Patel. Kenny wanted to give his kids something they could work on and grow. Dhruv and Smit will be the primary operators in their new Teriyaki Shop.

The Patel’s are excited to bring the Madness to their community. They plan to open their first shop in Columbus, Ohio with hopefully more shops in the near future!
