Franchisees lean on TMAD’s proven support system as they add to Florida’s growing market!

Welcome to Michael & Allison Richards, seasoned Business Owners, who will be bringing their Teriyaki Shop to Fort Lauderdale, Florida!

Michael & Allison own their own Real Estate Business and have always had a knack for business management.

“It has always been a dream of ours to add a restaurant to our portfolio. With everything that has been going on in our society today, the timing could not have been better to seize the opportunity to get into the restaurant business!”

The Business Owners both felt that Teriyaki Madness was the perfect fit to expand their portfolios and enter into a new industry.  They fell in love with TMAD’s food, brand presence and profitability!

“This will be our first venture into restaurant ownership so we wanted to lean on the expertise of a brand and method that has already been proven to work!”

The Richards are joining the Madness in the peak of growth! According to, Though restaurant industry sales have not fully recovered since early March, Teriyaki Madness was up 16% year-over-year in June, and continues to increase in YOY sales. In comparison, full service was down 28% and fast casual was only up 2% year-over-year. Pay-it forward community initiatives, like their most recent Healthcare Teriyaki Bar program, which delivered fully loaded teriyaki spreads to first-responders, have been a standout in demonstrating the franchise’s commitment to the communities they serve.

Welcome to the Madness, Michael & Allison!
