Preparation & Itinerary
We look forward to meeting you at Discovery Day in Denver, CO! Our goal is to provide a productive and informative day for you, while we’re evaluating you for your potential success and cultural fit within Teriyaki Madness. In preparation for your Discovery Day, please review the following and provide us with your arrival information, hotel reservation and any dietary restrictions.

Discovery day goals
This is your opportunity to meet members of the Home Office Team who will be instrumental in helping you to open and build the business of your dreams, as well as their opportunity to meet you (and your partners) and to mutually establish if you would be the right fit for our organization. The day has three main purposes:
• For the Teriyaki Madness Executive Team to make final approval of you and your application.
• For you to receive a deeper understanding of our business model, spend time with the team, and visit Teriyaki Shops to make the decision if Teriyaki Madness is a good fit for you.
• To start the foundation for a successful relationship built on understanding the roles, responsibilities, and expectations of all parties.

Discovery Day starts with a recommended dinner. We will meet for dinner at 5:30pm – 6:30p.m. the night before (details to follow). The next day we will meet at the Home Office at at 7:30am to begin a full day of discovery. *Book air travel home to depart after 7pm to ensure you are able to fully participate in the entire day.
*We suggest you use Uber/Lyft instead of renting a car.

Meet for a meal at a TBD Location (We will follow up closer to Discovery Day). We’ll get to know each other more and discuss the upcoming day.
Discovery Day
7:30am
Teriyaki Madness Greeting and Tour of the Home Office
Meet at the Home Office: 950 S Cherry St #850, Denver, CO 80246. We’ll get to know each other more and discuss the day.

Introduction
Meet with the Franchise Development Team to discuss your understanding of the Teriyaki Madness mission and brand vision.
8:05am
Morning Session
Real Estate
Take some time with Beth Steeler, Director of Real Estate, to understand the ways in which we help you find your ideal location.
Design & Construction
Chat with Mike McDermont, Director of Design & Construction, on how his team helps you design your shop, work with architects and contractors, then build out your location.
Operations: Training and Support
Sit down with Kevin McCarthy, Executive Vice President of Ops and Field Training, to understand the extensive, hands-on training you will go through as you learn the ropes of being a TMAD franchisee and discuss the ongoing support you will receive after you’ve opened your doors for business.
Launch
Meet with Stacy McCormack who will walk you through everything her and her team do to support you from becoming a franchisee to grand opening.

Lunch & Shop Visit
You will tour multiple TMADs, eat the food and see how the shops are run.

Afternoon Session
Supply Chain & Program Development
Talk with Zane Paschal, Director of Supply Chain, to understand Supply Chain, R&D, and Analytics.
Financial Planning &Analysis
Talk with Michelle Johnson, Vice President of Finance, to understand what you can expect on the financial side once you open your doors
Marketing
Sit with Jodi Boyce, Chief Marketing Officer, to discuss how they will support you from the initial stages through Grand Opening and throughout the years helping you market your shop.
