The Top Food Franchises of 2019
Teriyaki Madness was featured in Entrepreneur’s Top Food Franchises of 2019! Ranking in at #3 on the Asian Food list, TMAD was recognized for our start up costs and our growing number of Teriyaki Shops (We’re at 54 now!).
According to Entrepreneur contributor, Tracy Stapp Herold, “Ask someone to name a franchise, and chances are it will be a food-based one. Some of the biggest and best-loved franchise brands center around food, and perhaps that’s no surprise — after all, everybody eats. And more than that, everybody enjoys eating. Food isn’t just a necessity — it’s a desire, one that draws in both customers and franchisees.”
And we agree! Between our impressive executive team, building new processes and systems and unimaginable growth, consumers and franchisees are going crazy for the Madness! We are expected to hit a minimum 500 units by year 2026 which includes doubling TMAD’s Teriyaki Shops in 2019.
More than one fifth of franchises that applied for the 2019 Franchise 500 ranking were food based franchises. The Top Food Franchises of 2019 list was ranked off of the scores each company received from the Franchise 500 list. The company took into consideration more than 150 data points om the areas of cost, feeds, size, growth, franchise support, brand strength, and financial stability.
