TMAD Ranks on Restaurant Business Magazine’s Future 50 List for Resiliency, Record High Sales and Innovative Marketing Campaigns!

Teriyaki Madness has made the ranks on Restaurant Business Magazine’s Future 50 List at #13!

The Future 50 measures the fastest growing concepts that have annual sales between $25 million and $50 million.

According to Restaurant Business Magazine, “Over the dozen years that Restaurant Business has presented the Future 50, simple, easy-to-understand food—pizza, tacos—has dominated the list of fastest-growing small concepts. This year, new cuisines are rising to the top, signaling increasing acceptance of different ingredients, flavors and formats.”

Teriyaki Madness was recognized for our System Wide Sales, change in units year over year, and our resiliency to thrive during a global panemic.

“Teriyaki Madness has been aggressive since the coronavirus shutdown, using pop-up drive-thrus and curbside service to generate positive sales. Some locations hit record highs. The company also rolled out a “Pay it Forward” campaign, donating meals to first responders for every meal purchased. That kept the chain’s shops busy.”

For the past four weeks, Teriyaki Madness sales have been on an upward trajectory, on some days even beating same-store sales numbers from last year, long before the coronavirus crisis was keeping customers out of restaurants across the country. TMAD has held seven Grand Openings in seven states within the past month.
