Two decades of retail experience and ready to add TMAD
Mena Meawad and Samer Goda are expanding their portfolio and joining the restaurant industry courtesy of Teriyaki Madness! While Mena spent over 18 years managing businesses and supply chain projects around the globe, Samer was busy building his legacy in retail and owned his first business when he was only 18 years old! They joined forces and currently own and operate convenience stores, liquor stores and smoke shops in Los Angeles County. The duo will begin with one shop and use their experience and TMAD support to grow to multiple locations.
“The best thing about the Teriyaki Madness business model is that you do not have to be a food industry expert to succeed, you only have to listen to the experts and follow the manual.” Said by Samer, who has spent the entirety of his career in retail.
With their eyes set on expanding in the Greater Orange County area, it is a long way from home for Mena. He is originally from the coastal city of Port Siad, Egypt and from a quick Google search that is 7,700 miles from Orange County. After they reach their goal of opening 10 shops in the Orange County area, maybe the Madness will reach his homeland, and their 11th can be in Egypt!?
Mena is a go-getter and believes that defining goals, setting and measuring objectives and coming up with a plan of action will allow him to become successful. Mena believes failure only occurs when you give up. TMAD is here to support them in all aspects of their business and shares the same vision: GROWTH!
