Teriyaki Madness will soon open its first Alabama location in Madison.
Local entrepreneurs and friends, Manoj Patel and Kalpesh Patel, are opening the new restaurant on Monday, April 23, 2018, located at 7709 Highway 72 West. Residents and tourists will now have access to big, satisfying bowls filled with high-quality ingredients and mouthwatering flavors.
The duo is inviting all to celebrate the Teriyaki Madness grand opening with events beginning on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 continuing through Thursday, April 26, 2018. While prizes will be offered throughout the week, the primary giveaways are as follows:
- Tuesday, April 24: The first five customers who order an entree will win free bowls for a year, while the next 20 customers who order an entree will win free bowls for a month
- Wednesday, April 25 – Tuesday, April 24: Teriyaki Madness’ famous chicken teriyaki bowls will be offered for just $5 to all in-store customers
- Thursday, April 26: $1 from every regular bowl purchased will be donated to Bob Jones High School
Both originally from India, Manoj Patel and Kalpesh Patel moved to the United States following their families’ footsteps to find a better life with vast opportunities. The duo met in Madison after moving to the same neighborhood and quickly became friends. Their shared passion for entrepreneurism led them to open their first business, a CITGO in Florence. With the success from their first business, the pair was inspired to open a second business – a restaurant. After learning about Teriyaki Madness, they knew it would be their second business, and were sold after trying the delicious food and becoming immersed in the “madness” of the company’s culture.
“With the Asian food trend continuously growing over the past decade, we’re thrilled to be giving residents of Madison access to big, satisfying bowls filled with high-quality ingredients and mouthwatering flavors,” Patel said. “I’m extremely passionate about this business and our unique concept to serve food unlike anything else out there. This is not your typical franchised food, but instead large, filling meals that are completely customizable.
Teriyaki Madness brings an authentic Seattle Teriyaki House experience to the Alabama market as the fastest growing Asian restaurant concept in the nation. Big, bold, bowls are what Teriyaki Madness is famous for, as guests customize their made-to-order entrees.
The 1800-square-foot restaurant will seat 36 people indoors and create 20 new jobs for the community. It will be open daily from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
