Teriyaki Madness is Mentioned as a Top Franchise in the Denver Post

In 2016, franchise businesses are expected to provide nearly 9 million jobs into the economy and $351 billion in payroll!

If you think about it, that’s more jobs than manufacturers of durable goods, which includes products of everyday use including cars, computers, equipment, and metal and wood products.

Denver hosted the Franchise Expo West, the largest franchising convention in the west, on October 6-8 and has put Denver front and center in the thriving franchising industry that exists today. Colorado is the birthplace of Re/Max, Qdoba, Grease Monkey, Camp Bow Wow, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Maui Wowi, and many more, which account for more than 171,000 jobs across the state. Denver has a strong economy and increasing population growth and has no plan to stop anytime soon. Denver has become more attractive to franchisors and franchisees with it’s rising home values and business climate.

At Franchise Expo West, over 200 franchise representatives met with franchisee prospects for business ranging from fast-casual restaurants to cell-phone repair companies. Every single company showed an interest in Denver and has a strong desire to open in Colorado. One of the top franchises to attend was Teriyaki Madness! Headquartered in Denver, Teriyaki Madness has 37 stores in 15 states, with the goal to end the year with 46 restaurants in 17 states.

The one and only Teriyaki Madness franchise owner in Colorado, Qing Hammel, had the confidence to open her own store in June in Greenwood Village. Knowing that she wanted to open a franchise, she researched a number of concepts with a franchise consultant and Teriyaki Madness made it to the top of her list. Why? She found Teriyaki Madness to have high-quality, made-to-order meal options.

Doing food, I don’t have any experience. The learning curve would be so steep. The thing is about doing food in business, you don’t what what you don’t know. Some of the franchisor companies, after I talked with them, I felt like their purpose was just the selling, but Teriyaki Madness, it has the potential to grow. We’re the only one in Denver right now so the growth opportunities are good. And at every single step, they showed us they want to be successful.”
